Broloppet 2010 (10-year jubilee) - Half Marathon 21 097,5 m between Denmark and Sweden!

Did you run 10 years ago when the race was arranged for the first time and 80 000 athletes ran? Now you have a chance to relive the race in a new and improved version.

And if you didn’t run 10 years ago you have a unique chance of competing in an exceptional race with the highest quality possible and a chance to see the bridge from another view than from a car or the train.

On the 12th of June 2010 the Bridge Consortium, the Danish athletic club Sparta Atletik & Motion and the Swedish athletic club MAI are together organising the 10th Anniversary race over the Bridge.

The race is unique as it stretches between two countries, Denmark and Sweden, by way of the beautiful bridge.

When and where is the start?
The start is on Saturday the 12th of June at 4pm.

The race is a festival with refreshments and entertainment. A big screen will be available at the start area from 10 am, not just for the competitors but friends, family and visitors. The start is at Kastrup Strandpark in Denmark and the race stretches over the bridge where you can enjoy the wonderful view, run into Sweden and finish at the Ribersborgs area by the sea in Malmö. Once over the finish line you will receive fruit, water etc. Each runner will be individually timed with a chip.

Athletes who have applied on the Swedish will be transported with buses to the start in Denmark, and for the Danish runners, buses will be transporting you back to Denmark after the race.

It is with pleasure that we welcome you to the Bridge Race 2010 on 12th June. It is has been 10 long years to the day since the first ever race filled The Øresund Bridge with runners. Interest has, to say the least, been overwhelming, with the starting 30 000 places already sold out last year. It’s going to be an extra fun anniversary race.
